Multiple grand slam winner Serena Williams has reached a major threshold on social media after hitting 10 million followers on Instagram.
Serena reached the milestone this week and took to the social media outlet to celebrate the development.
She shared a picture of her daughter’s playtime in a sandbox.
In the picture, the tennis icon tried to playfully reach out to her daughter, Alexis Olympia.
“For my 10 million followers. Thank you,” she captioned the picture.
This was after an argument with umpire Carlos Ramos who she accused of bias.
Osaka won 6-2, 6-4 to prevent Williams from winning a record-tying 24th major singles title.
The 23-time grand slam champion could not hold back her tears during an argument with chair umpire Carlos Ramos after being given two warnings.
An infuriated Williams went on to call Ramos a thief, demanding an apology from the 47-year-old umpire after Osaka had established her dominance.
And after the heated occasion, spectators booed Ramos, who was escorted off the court.
