Alex Iwobi has charged his Arsenal teammates to continue their winning streak after their 5-1 thrashing of Fulham at the Craven Cottage in Sunday’s Premier League game.
Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang braces with Aaron Ramsey’s effort sealed the victory for the north London outfit, rendering Andre Schurrle’s goal a mere consolation.
The victory helped the Gunners extend their winning run to nine games after struggling at the beginning of the season.
And the 22-year-old Nigerian, who made his third league start under the new manager has taken to the social media to urge his side not to soft-pedal on the feat.
“Another win on the bounce. Fans were unbelievable. Let’s keep this going,” Iwobi posted on Instagram.
The win has catapulted the Gunners to the fourth spot in the league log with 18 points from eight games.
Iwobi who has been impressive since Unai Emery took charge from Arsene Wenger will be hoping to reproduce the form when Nigeria take on Libya for their 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifiers in Uyo on October 13.
