Chelsea star Victor Moses retired from the Super Eagles at an early age, a former Nigeria international Friday Elahor has said.
Moses, 27, retired from Gernot Rohr’s team after the Russia 2018 World Cup to concentrate on playing for the Blues.
However, Elahor has said that Moses’ 37 appearances for the Eagles and 12 goals to show, means the Nigeria Football Federation should talk him out of retirement.
“He had his own reason for retiring which is to concentrate on his club football but for me I don’t think at his age it is good for him,” Elahor told Complete Sports.
“If I were the authorities (NFF), we’ll sit down with him and see if he can come back to the team. He is a very good player and we still need him.”
Moses won the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations title with the Eagles in South Africa.
