Reno Omokri, a former presidential media aide, has urged Nigeria’s First Lady, Aisha Buhari to decamp to the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The former Presidential aide made this comment in reaction to Mrs Buhari’s condemnation of the irregularities that marred the primaries of the ruling party across the nation.
Concise News had reported earlier that the First Lady lashed out at the National Chairman of the APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole for allowing “impunity take place under his watch”.
Speaking on the outcome of the primaries in series of tweets on Sunday morning, Mrs Buhari said the ruling party was not fair to aspirants who partook in its primaries across the country.
She had tweeted: “It is disheartening to note that some aspirants used their hard earned money to purchase nomination forms, got screened, cleared and campaigned vigorously yet found their names omitted on Election Day, these forms were bought at exorbitant prices.”
Reacting to Mrs Buhari’s Comment, Omokri said the opposition party does not believe in ‘other rooms’ in what appears to be a direct swipe at President Muhammadu Buhari over his 2016 comment about the duties of his wife.
I urge the other aspirants to immediately congratulate HE @Atiku and unite behind him to permanently retire that tyrant in @AsoRock. I also noticed that @aishambuhari is complaining about APC primaries. I urge her to decamp to @OfficialPDPNig. We don’t believe in ‘other rooms’!
