Nigerians have lauded teachers for their role in shaping their lives and the society at large as the world marks the 2018 World Teachers’ Day.
These Nigerians who posted on Twitter were thankful for the role teachers played in their formative years.
According to some of them, teaching is more than a career and call well be defined as a calling; the mother of all professions.
Others decried the low-pay most teachers in Nigeria receive in spite of their critical role in shaping the direction of a nation.
