Chelsea midfielder Eden Hazard, Manchester City’s Raheem Sterling and Arsenal’s Alexandre Lacazette have been shortlisted for the EA SPORTS Player of the Month Award for September.
Other players nominated are Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Willy Boly, Gylfi Sigurdsson of Everton and Leicester City’s James Maddison.
Hazard has by far been Chelsea’s best player so far this season, scoring five goals in the English Premier League including a hat-trick against Cardiff City.
On his part, Lacazette netted twice and provided two assists for the Gunners who won all four of their fixtures in September.
As for Sterling, he has scored three goals and provided two assists for Manchester City who won all of their matches in the month.
Leicester City’s Maddison was named because he provided two goals and two assists for the Foxes, while Everton’s Sigurdsson found the back of the net three times in four games.
And Boly was nominated because he did his job by keeping clean sheets in three of their four matches and remained unbeaten throughout September.
Fans are to vote for their Player of the Month until on Monday, 8 October 2018.
