The National Association of Royale Food Stuff Millers and Grinders of Nigeria has called on the federal government to extend its TraderMoni scheme to its members.
TraderMoni scheme is a collateral-free loan given to traders across Nigeria and under the Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme to bridge the credit gaps in small and medium scale businesses.
This call came in Ibadan recently at the presentation of the certificate of incorporation to the association in Ibadan by the Corporate Affairs Commission.
Speaking on the occasion, the National President of the body, Ogundare Akanbi, “We need the Federal Government to assist us in purchase of grinding machines in large numbers and subsidised rate for us to reimburse on instalments from state to state.”
According to Akanbi, this would help members of the association in taking their business to the next level.
