Nigerian actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde alongside 43 other Nigerians were unveiled on Wednesday as part of the 2018 Most Influential People of African Descent (MIPAD) global 100 list.
The celebrities were honoured at the 73rd United Nations General Assembly in New York.
Other Nigerians who made the list include, Davido, Falz the bahd guy, Dakore Egbuson, Yemi Kale, Ada Osakwe, Hadiza Bala Usman, Tolu Ogunlesi, Amy Jadesimi, Audu Maikori, Tomi Adeyemi, Chude Jideonwo and others. Banky W and his wife, Adesua Etomi were one of the two power couples on the list.
The list, which was announced in March recognizes the positive contributions made by people of African descent, worldwide, across four categories of Politics & Governance, Business & Entrepreneurship, Media & Culture and Religious & Humanitarian.
Actress, Jalade-Ekeinde shared some photos from the event on her Instagram page and captioned it, “Honoured to be one of the Most Influential 100 People of African Descent at the United Nations by @mipad100”
