Libya will play without key midfielder Tarek Al-Jamal as they play Nigeria in two back-to-back 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifier this month.
Al-Jamal, Concise News understands, was injured while playing for his club side.
The player has been replaced with Al-Ahly of Tripoli’s Mahmoud Walou for the games with the West Africans.
Also, the team will begin preparations for the game on Thursday in the Tunisian city of Sfax.
The Eagles, who are one point adrift of group leaders, Libya after two games, host the first leg on 13 October at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.
The reverse fixture comes up on 16 October at the Stade Taïeb Mhiri in the city of Sfax, Tunisia.
Nigeria got their qualifying campaign back on track with a 3-0 spanking of Seychelles in September, having surprisingly lost 2-0 at home to second-placed South Africa in their opening group game.
