There is no explosion of any installation in networks across the nation, the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has said.
This was in a statement by the TCN General Manager (Public Affairs) Ndidi Mbah recently.
According to Mbah, the “TCN engineers are presently working on the 132/33kV side of our Damaturu Transmission Substation that would eventually service the 33kV feeders in the next two weeks.”
It added that the TCN would energize a 150MVA 330/132kV power transformer and 75MX reactor in its Maiduguri Transmission Substation.
“It is important to emphasize that our installations are well tested before they are energized,” the statement said.
“The public should disregard the intentionally fabricated information geared towards tarnishing the image of TCN and the government as circulated by saboteurs.”
