The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primary for Lagos state has been disrupted by thugs at Ward G North, Abesan, in Alimosho area of the state.
The contest for the party’s ticket for the 2019 elections is between the incumbent Governor Akinwunmi Ambode and Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
It was learned that the about 15 hoodlums invaded the Abesan High School, venue of the exercise, around 9.45am, flogging voters and preventing them from being accredited.
According to reports, some policemen at the venue later arrested some of them and restored normalcy.
It was gathered that a large number of party members arrived at the venue ahead of time to decide between Ambode and Sanwo-Olu.
Elsewhere, Concise News observed a tight security at the Ogba secretariat of the party with more than 150 policemen spotted.
The State party chairman, Tunde Balogun, arrived the secretariat at 10.55am.
