Gary Neville Reveals Cause Of United's Woeful Performances
File: United have not won in their last three games.

Manchester United legend Gary Neville has revealed that the team is suffering from a “lack of football leadership” after a poor start to the season.

United lost 3-1 to West Ham in a Premier League clash on Saturday, their third game without a win.

And with the situation heaping more pressure on manager Jose Mourinho, Neville has exonerated the Portuguese for the side’s unimpressive start for the season.

He said the team’s board do not have a plan for the club, tracing the sack of David Moyes as the genesis of its present problems.

“This mess started when United sacked David Moyes after 8 months and we lost all sense of the values that the club had been built on for 100 years,” the former England international stated.

“It’s not the manager it’s the lack of football leadership above him. They are bouncing all over the place with no plan!”
