The party had earlier fixed its governorship primaries nationwide on Saturday and later postponed it to Sunday.

Lagos is one of few states the ticket is keenly contested for as Babajide Sanwo-Olu is ready to take on incumbent Akinwunmi Ambode in the exercise that will now take place on Monday.
