Arsenal moved one step above Manchester United in the Premier League table on Sunday after two goals in three second-half minutes gave them a 2-0 win over Everton and took them up to sixth.
It was the first time this season the north London side kept a clean sheet, with goalkeeper Petr Cech making six brilliant saves.
Arsenal did not immediately take charge of the game though as they could not penetrate a determined Everton side in the first-half.
But Unai Emery’s team asserted their authority in the second-half and it was only a matter of time before their fans raised their arms to celebrate.
Alexandre Lacazette sent the Arsenal supporters into raptures by curling a shot into the top corner from the edge of the area after Aaron Ramsey’s pass.
Thereafter, Gabon international Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang finished off from close range after receiving an assist from Aaron Ramsey.
