The Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) has rued the poor level of infrastructure in the country, saying it is one of the issues bedeviling the sector.
This was the comment of the MAN President Frank Jacobs who lamented that the sector does not enjoy enough support from the government.
Jacobs spoke earlier this week in Lagos during a press conference ahead of the 46th Annual General Meeting/3rd Manufacturers Annual Lecture.
“We hope that things would improve to take the sector to its desired position,” he said.
According to him, the AGM and manufacturers’ annual lecture/presidential luncheon billed for September 26 and 27 in Lagos would give an opportunity for experts to assess the achievements of the sector in the past one year.
