Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has said that captain Mikel Obi will be in action for the West Africans as they take on Libya in a 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifier.

There were fears that the former Chelsea man would retire from the team as he was excused from the Afcon 2019 qualifier with Seychelles last weekend.

But Rohr has allayed fears that the Tianjin Teda man would be leaving the side, revealing that he would feature against the Maghreb nation on October 10.

“By the 10th of October, we will recover our injured players like (William) Ekong, like Ola Aina, Obi Mikel will be fit also,” the coach said.
