The Rice Farmers Association of Nigeria (RIFAN) has given N56 million to President Muhammadu Buhari to get his Expression of Interest and Nomination form for the 2019 election.
Concise News gathered that the group, led by Kebbi state Governor Atiku Bagudu, said this when the group visited National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole on Tuesday.
A pro-Buhari group Nigeria Consolidation Ambassadors Network (NCAN) had on 5 September purchased the document for N45 million and presented it to the President on Tuesday, 11 September, at the State House in Abuja.
The group said it believed in Buhari, who declared his interest to run for a second term some months ago because he had in words and in action worked to lay a foundation for a greater and a prosperous Nigeria.
