A pro-Biafra activist Emeka Gift has laughed off threats by the Nigerian security chiefs over the September 14 sit-at-home order by the secessionist group in the country.
Concise News recalls that heads of security agencies in Imo State had vowed to crush members of the IPOB over the order
This online outfit learned that those who said they were ready to confront the IPOB members were the state Commissioner of Police, Dasuki Galadanchi, and the Brigadier Commander, 34 Artillery Brigade, Obinze-Owerri, HI Bature.
Other heads of security agencies who made the vow were those of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps; Nigeria Immigration Service; Air Force, among others.
Describing the pro-Biafran agitators as “miscreants,” Galadanchi said the proposed sit-at-home order was not in tandem with the laws of the land.
“IPOB members should remember that where one person’s rights end, the other person’s rights begin. Imo State must be great in our time. The sit-at-home order is at variance with the law.
“Anybody who tries to threaten law-abiding citizens in the name of sit-at-home would have the security agencies to contend with,” Galadanchi had said.
Apparently reacting to the statement in a tweet on Wednesday morning, Gift, who said the IPOB members would shut down ‘Biafra land’ to observe the order, said Nigeria was boiling because of the September 14 sit-at-home order.
He tweeted: “Just One day Sit At Home and Nigeria is boiling what if when we extend it to 2 or 3 days? If you want freedom prepare your mind.”
