President of the Arewa Youths Forum, Yerima Shettima, has claimed that there have been no developments in Nigeria since President Muhammadu Buhari took office.
Shettima said this on Tuesday at the secretariat of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna state.
He noted this after submitting his form as a PDP aspirant for the House of Representatives.
According to him, there is a need to change the Buhari government in 2019 since, according to him, there is much hardship in the land.
In addition, Shettima said the Forum was partnering the Northern Elders Forum for an alternative candidate to replace Buhari.
Shettima also said the high cost of expression of interest and nomination forms of political parties was an attempt to stop youths from seeking elective posts.
This, according to him, is because most youths cannot afford to pay such a high amount of money for the forms.
He, therefore, called on political parties to proffer solution to the issue.
