Reno Omokri, a former aide to immediate past President of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan, has alleged that President Muhammadu Buhari has secretly paid ₦16.67 billion to the government of Osun state.

Omokri, who is a strong critic of Buhari, said the alleged decision was taken by the President since the Osun governorship election is around the corner.

He made this allegation on the micro-blogging site, Twitter, on Saturday, adding that the President also gave “₦10,000 tradermoni ‘loans’ to Osun voters” because of the forthcoming governorship election in the southwest state.

Condemning the decision, Omokri stressed that by so doing, the President and his vice, Yemi Osinbajo, had shown that they lack integrity.

The former Presidential aide said with the alleged act, if anyone believes President Buhari and Osinbajo have integrity then the person might as well believe a “prostitute is a virgin”.

“Elections are around the corner and President has secretly paid ₦16.67 billion to Osun as well as give ₦10k tradermoni ‘loans’ to Osun voters,” Omokri tweeted.

“If you still believe Buhari and have integrity, you might as well believe a prostitute is a virgin.”

Concise News understands that the Osun State governorship election will hold on Saturday, September 22, 2018.
