Legendary Arsenal striker Ian Wright has said winning the 2018 World Cup inflated Manchester United man Paul Pogba’s ego.
Pogba who won the 2018 World Cup in Russia with France, is in a tensed relationship with manager Jose Mourinho.
The former Juventus man had recently said he just has a normal coach-player relationship with the Portuguese gaffer.
This is as many United fans have criticised him for not playing well at the team.
However, Wright said the World Cup triumph had given Pogba a false sense of security.
“In the Premier League, if we are honest, he hasn’t done it consistently,” Wright told Sky Sports.
“Coming back with the World Cup medal has given him a false sense of security and made him think he is bigger than this.
“We need to see more of him and what he is capable of doing.
“I am sure there are teams that would want him and are monitoring the situation.”
