IGP Dismisses Three Police Inspectors Involved In Raiding Clark’s Home

The Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, has ordered the dismissal of the three inspectors involved in the unauthorised search of the home of elder statesman, Edwin Clark. Spokesman for the police, Jimoh Moshood, revealed this on Thursday. He added that ASP David Dominic, who led the operation, had been queried and was being investigated for discreditable conduct, negligence of duty and act unbecoming of a police officer.

Suspected Fulani herdsmen have reportedly beheaded the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Bare ward, Numan area of Adamawa state in Nigeria’s northeast region. It was learned that the deceased, Charles Chrisanthus, was brutally murdered in the presence of his wife, Dorcas, and four-month-old son in his farm on 29 August, 2018.
