Super Eagles star Kelechi Nwakali has said he would give his all if selected as the team face Seychelles in a 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifier.
Nigeria will take on the Pirates on Saturday in a Group E encounter for the race to Cameroon having lost their opening game in the qualification series 2-0 to South Africa last year.
However, Nwakali who got his first invitation to the team has said the players would make Nigerians proud.
”For the game on Saturday, the coach has to make the choice of the players that will start the game or play the game,” he said in a short video posted on the Super Eagles’ Twitter handle.
”I believe that we are all ready for the game. If the mantle falls on me to play against Seychelles, I’ll take up the challenge.
”All we urge Nigerians is just to support the team, pray for the team and I believe as a team we will make them proud and we will achieve our aim of coming here.”
Nigeria are third in the group standing, behind Libya and South Africa.
