Ibrahim Shekarau, Uche Secondus and Musa Kwankwaso

Former New Media Director of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Deji Adeyanju has commended the National chairman of the party, Uche Secondus, for reportedly reconciling ex-Kano governors Ibrahim Shekarau and Rabiu Kwankwaso.

Concise News had reported that Shekarau had finally announced that he was leaving the PDP for the All Progressives Congress (APC) over a dispute with Kwankwaso.

This was disclosed by the media aide to the former Kano governor, Sule Ya’u Sule, on Tuesday.

However, reports have emerged that the national chairman has intervened in the face-off between the two political gladiators.

And in a post on his Twitter page, Adeyanju wrote: “First, let me apologise to PDP’s Chairman, Uche Secondus for my very harsh words yesterday over the Kano crisis then 2nd, let me commend him for showing leadership to resolve the crisis and reconciling Kwankwaso and Shekarau.

“This is what we all expect from the opposition.”
