The Special Assistant on Environmental Services to the Kwara State Governor, Sunday Ogunniyi, has resigned his appointment.
In his resignation letter, sent through the office of the Secretary to the Kwara State Government, Ogunniyi did not give a reason for his decision.
He wrote: “With humility sir, I wish to inform you of my intention to resign my political appointment as Special Assistant on Environmental Services with effect from the date of this letter.
“While wishing you a continued happy tenure, I am sincerely thanking you for the opportunity given me to serve.”
Kwara Governor, Ahmed Abdulfatah, had recently dumped the All Progressives Congress for the Peoples Democratic Party.
