Arsenal star Alex Iwobi has described playing with Victor Moses in the Super Eagles team as a “pleasure.”
The Chelsea man retired from international football on Wednesday at 27 having played 37 games.
Reacting to the development, Iwobi tweeted: “Thank you for paving the way for us. You have achieved so much for our country. It was a pleasure to play with you, wishing you the best big bro @VictorMoses.”
Also speaking, Eagles teammate, Willian Troost-Ekong wrote on Instagram: “Bro I wish you the best! Thanks for everything.”
Moses won the Afcon in 2013 and was also part of the three-time African champions’ team to the 2014 and 2018 World Cups.
