Nigerian starlet Rasheedat Ajibade is disappointed over Falconets’ defeat to Spain in the quarter-finals of the Fifa U-20 Women’s World Cup in France.

In her reaction after Nigeria’s exit from the competition, Ajibade, whose goal helped the Falconets reach the last eight, said the defeat was painful.

“In God we trust, united we stand,” she said on her Twitter handle on Friday.

“Competitive game that we narrowly lost against Spain. Hurts deep.”

“But I am grateful to have captained Team Nigeria and proud we reached the Q-finals.
