Lukaku Speaks On Retirement

Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku has disclosed that he would retire from the Belgian team in 2020.

Lukaku, 25, has said he wants to leave the national team after the Euro 2020 championship.

That means he would not play at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar after he led the Europeans to third place at the 2018 edition.

“After the Euros,” Lukaku told Business Insider, “I think I’ll stop.”

Lukaku has played 75 games for the Red Devils with 40 goals to his credit as well as featured at the 2014 and 2018 World Cup finals.
