Super Eagles midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo is elated to be in training with his new English Championship side Stoke City as they started their pre-season in Germany.
The Nigerian joined the Potters before the 2018 World Cup on a five-year deal and was impressive for the Eagles at the competition.
Expressing his excitement at joining his club’s training, Etebo took to his Instagram page on Monday to say he is ready for the “challenge.”
“Good first day at training, pleased to be here and excited for the challenge ahead. #EK# StokeCity,” Etebo wrote.
Stoke City were relegated from the English Premier League after a poor showing.
Etebo spent two years at Portuguese side Feriense but had played four seasons for Nigerian Professional Football League club Warri Wolves before jetting out of Nigeria.
