Senator Ovie Omo-Agege (APC-Delta South) has declared that no amount of gang-up can halt the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019.
Beaming with smiles at his arrival at the Osubi Airstrip in Warri on Friday amid a mammoth crowd, Omo-Agege described proponents of the rAPC as jokers whose sponsors in the National Assembly would soon be unmasked.
The senator told reporters that he was elated by the crowd that had defied the Friday heavy downpour to welcome him home after his travail in Abuja.
Omo-Agege said the representation of his people at the Senate was propelled by his passion and compassionate interest to speak on behalf of his people and better their lot and therefore could not be cowed
He said; “The Urhobo people know that I am not a coward and cannot be intimidated by anybody; no matter who is involved.
“We don’t expect the action of the ‘Rejected APC’ that is what they are called to affect the President’s re-election, because the people in that group are not very important in their different states.
“Although we know those who are behind them, but out of cowardice, they will not show their faces for people to know that they are the ones sponsoring them.
“But we know them, especially in the Senate, but with time, they will all be exposed, so, nothing they can do to stop Buhari’s election in 2019. No amount of gang up will affect Buhari’s re-election.”
