Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has condemned the recent attack in Gandi, Rabah Local Government Area of Sokoto State.
Concise had reported that bandits attacked villages around Gandi in Rabah Local Government of Sokoto State, leaving many killed.
Reacting in a post on Twitter, Atiku stated that the killings of Nigerians show that Nigeria’s internal security is broken.
He wrote: “I’m saddened at reports of killings in Gandi, Rabah Local Government Area of Sokoto State.
“With thousands killed while our country is not at war, it clearly shows Nigeria’s internal security architecture is broken and needs a reset.”
Also reacting to the killings, Shehu Sani (APC-Kaduna Central) urged security agencies to bring perpetrators to book.
“The attacks and massacre in Sokoto state stand condemned. Everything should be done to bring the perpetrators of that heinous act to book.
