England coach Garry Southgate has described Croatia as a “dangerous” side following their 2-1 loss in the semi-final of the 2018 World Cup on Wednesday.
Mario Mandzukic grabbed an extra-time goal to send Croatia through to their first final in the competition.
Speaking on the sidelines of the game, Southgate said, “They [Croatia] were always dangerous.
“They have some individuals who can hurt you. And when you get this stage of the competition the margins are fine.
“In the end they managed to take two of theirs, and we were unable to respond.”
France will take on Croatia in the final on Sunday while the English side face Belgium in the play-off on Saturday.
