The Eko Electricity Distribution Company has fingered system collapse from the National Grid for the poor power outage experienced by some of its customers on Friday.
EKEDC said this in a statement on Saturday where the company revealed that the collapse took place at about 9.38 p.m. on Friday but was restored early on Saturday morning.
The company thus appealed to its customers who were affected by the development, stressing that the fault was not theirs.
This is as the company debunked insinuations of mass disconnection of consumers’ lines by the disco.
It thus said those disconnected were customers owing the company, warning against harassment or assault of EKEDC’s officials carrying out their lawful duties.
