Liverpool have announced that Germany midfielder Emre Can is leaving the side along with defender Jon Flanagan.
Both players’ contracts elapsed this summer.
It was gathered that Can, who joined the Reds from Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen in 2014, is on the verge of joining Italian giants Juventus.
He played his 167th and final game for Liverpool in last month’s Champions League final defeat to Real Madrid in Kiev.
Liverpool have already signed Brazilian midfielder Fabinho from AS Monaco for a fee believed to be about 40 million pounds.
