Senate President Bukola Saraki has sent a response letter to the Nigeria Police Force over their investigation into the Offa bank robbery that left over 30 people dead.
In a post on his Twitter handle on Thursday, Saraki said: “In line with their request, earlier today, the Police received my response to their letter on the investigation into the Offa robbery case.”
The Police had on Sunday asked the Senate President to turn himself in for questioning over the incident.
Force spokesman, Jimoh Moshood, while parading the suspects, stated that the former Kwara Governor and incumbent, Abdulfatah Ahmed were indicted.
However, on Monday, the police asked Saraki to state his position in writing.
