Personal Assistant on Social Media to President Muhammadu Buhari, Lauretta Onochie, has accused Senate President Bukola Saraki of making provoking threats.
The presidential aide was reacting to the vote of no confidence passed on the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris and the threat to impeach President Muhammadu Buhari by the National Assembly.
Reacting, Onochie lamented that Saraki was heading the move to impeach the president while some robbers linked to him were “incarcerated.”
Onochie said this while reacting to a Twitter user, DeeOneAyekooto, who wrote: “Godfather of Armed Robbers passed a VOTE of No Confidence on the Inspector General of Police.”
In her reaction, the Presidential aide wrote: “Change means we are all equal before the law. It’s, therefore, unfair and extremely sad that only the young Nigerians who were caught for bank robbery, are being incarcerated.
“Their alleged accomplice, is sitting in the chamber of the House of Senate making provoking threats.”
