Disgraced Hollywood movie producer Harvey Weinstein will be appearing in court on Tuesday, June 5 on charges of rape.
CNN reports that the movie producer who was granted a bail to the tune of $1 million, is expected to plead “not guilty” to the rape charges.
The severally accused movie mogul who was stripped off his ownership of his founded production company over cases of sexual assaults, is being charged in New York on two counts of rape and one first degree criminal sex act charge.
Top Hollywood actresses like Lupita Nyong’o, Angelina Jolie, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Salma Hayek and over 20 others, have accused Harvey of sexually assaulting them.
It was his assault case that gave birth to the #MeToo campaign which started in 2017.
