The Department of State Services (DSS) has said it never ordered for the withdrawal of security detail of Senate President Bukola Saraki and Speaker House of Representatives Yakubu Dogara.
Concise News recall that there were reports that Saraki and Dogara’s security aides were withdrawn following allegations of the former sponsoring suspected masterminds of Offa bank robbery.
However, the spokesperson for the DSS, Nnanna Nnochiri, said that the service never issued such directive.
“I can tell you authoritatively that the service never gave such directive,” Nnochiri told Sun News.
”For emphasis, we have not withdrawn, neither are we planning to withdraw our personnel in the security detail of the two presiding officers of the National Assembly. There is no iota of truth in that report,” Nnanna added.
