Super Eagles winger Ahmed Musa has said that Saturday’s friendly with the Three Lions of England will boost their confidence ahead of the 2018 World Cup.
Nigeria, who were held to a 1-1 draw by DR. Congo on Monday, will play the Europeans at the Wembley Stadium before jetting out for their final camping in Austria.
Speaking ahead of the clash, Musa said the England clash would be a big game.He told Complete Sports Nigeria that, “This game is not all about winning but to tune up for the World Cup.
“A win or a draw will boost our confidence going to the World Cup, so we will play not to lose.”
According to him, “It is a big game for us and we shall give it our best shot.”
Nigeria are in Group D of the World Cup alongside Croatia, Iceland and Argentina.
