One of the countries Nigeria would meet at the 2018 Fifa World Cup in Russia Croatia have named their final squad of 23 players for the tournament.

Head coach of the Europeans Zlatko Dalic had released a preliminary list consisting of 32 players last Monday, but has now dropped eight from the list.

As expected, top players like Luka Modric, Ivan Rakitic, Dejan Lovren, Ivan Perisic and Mario Mandzukic made the cut.

Also listed are veteran defender Vedran Corluka, Monaco’s goalkeeper Danijel Subasic, Mateo Kovacic and Marcelo Brozovic.
