A policeman has allegedly killed an army personnel in Port Harcourt, resulting in the sacking of the Rumukpakani Police Station by a group of soldiers.

Commissioner of police in the state Zaki Ahmed said the two security personnel were involved in an argument on Thursday morning which led to a scuffle.

Angered by the incident, it was gathered that some soldiers stormed the area the Police Station and reportedly arrested the Divisional Police Officer and eight others.

Reports also say the policeman, who allegedly shot the Army officer, was also taken away.

The army has yet to comment on the incident.
