Senator Shehu Sani (APC-Kaduna Central) has reacted to the threat by former Ekiti State governor Segun Oni to leave the All Progressives Congress (APC) if his supporters are intimidated.
In a post on his Twitter page on Wednesday, Sani recalled that Oni had months ago mediated peace efforts on behalf of the APC in Kaduna.
He said Oni’s complaint against victimization and injustice towards him in his state was a case of ‘fire in the fire man’s house’.
Shehu Sani wrote: “Disrespect, victimisation may force us out of APC, Oni declares; months ago, Mr. Oni was officially sent to Kaduna by the Broom ‘to make or restore peace’ among its members.
“Today, Mr Oni is complaining on victimisation and injustice against him in his state by the hBroom. Fire in the Fireman’s house.”
