Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo will return to Chelsea after his loan deal with Turkish club Kasımpaşa S.K. on Tuesday.
The player, 24, announced his departure from the club, ending his second loan spell with the side.
”I want to say a big thanks to players, staffs, and management of Kasimpasa SK for believing in my abilities as a player… and the coach for helping me achieve my personal goal this season,” Omeruo posted on his official Instagram account.
”I am grateful and wish this amazing club a much better position next season.. ❤.”
Omeruo previously enjoyed loan spells at Middlesbrough FC and Alanyaspor. He had 28 league appearances, and scored one goal against Konyaspor. He is in Nigeria’s preliminary squad for the World Cup.
