Canadian actress Margot Kidder has passed on in her sleep at the age of 69, Police in Livingston, Montana revealed in a statement.
The actress was famous for her role as Lois Lane in the franchise of the 1970s and 1980s “Superman”.
The police revealed that they were called to the deceased actress’s home when she was found dead.
Although, no foul play is suspected an autopsy will still be performed on the actress to confirm the cause of her death.
Kidder who starred alongside lead actor Christopher Reeve in “Superman” starred in several movies in the 70’s and still joined Reeve in other Superman series till the fourth edition in 1987.
She also made laudable appearances in “You’ve got me?! Who’s got you?”, 1973 movie, “Sisters”, “The Great Waldo Pepper” a 1975 film with Robert Redford, and “The Amilltys’s Horror” in 1979.
