Five members of the Civilian Joint Task Force were killed by a suicide bomber on Tuesday in Madarari area of Konduga, Borno state
Concise News gathered that six others were injured in the attack.
Zonal spokesman for NEMA Ibrahim Abdulkadir said the incident occurred around 1:30 pm.
He said that the bomber detonated his Improvised Explosive Device (IED), at a military check point killing the victims.
Malam Bello Danbatta, the spokesperson for the Civilian JTF, said he lost four of his men including the leader of the task force in Konduga.
”We evacuated the injured victims to the state specialist hospital for treatment,” he said.
