Members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) have held protest at Utako area of Abuja, over the continued detention of their leader, Sheikh Ibrahim El-Zakzaky.
The protesters stormed the roundabout leading to Utako market, thereby causing gridlock.
The youth, who formed a circle at the roundabout, could be heard chanting, “Government free El-Zakzaky, release our leader.”
According to reports, the youth chanted the song in a very angry manner.
It was also observed that armed police officers were on standby to forestall breakdown of law and order.
