Action Peoples Party (APP) has promised to revamp the nation’s economy and unite Nigerians irrespective of their tribe if voted into power in 2019.
The National Chairman of the APP Ikenga Ugochiyeri revealed this on Monday in Abuja during the unveiling of the party.
Ugochinyeri lamented the spate of killings in the country and said when they are elected, the party would make policies that would rejig the economy.
The PPA chieftain noted that the president Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal Government had performed below the expectations.
He also called on him to resign while stating that the party would ensure June 12 is approved as national Democracy Day.
“This Bill which has been drafted and captioned June 12 Bill, will be presented to the Parliament once we are elected in 2019,’’ he said.
He said that APP would stand against tenure elongation and change of Constitution by sit-tight leaders in African countries and dictatorship in the continent if elected.
According to him, “Nigeria shall more resolutely intervene on behalf of the people of Africa where there is violation and abuse of human rights and dignity.
“We will no longer sit and allow some dictators continue to rape the dignity of their people and subject their citizenry to all sorts of human suffering.”
