Nigeria pummelled Rwanda 108-53 on Saturday to take charge of Group B in the second window of the FIBA 2019 World Cup qualifiers.

Michael Efevberha netted five 3 pointers to give the D’Tigers an early lead and led the floor with 16 points to his credit.

Talib Zanna registered 14 points and 6 rebounds while Christopher Ewache scored 7 points and 5 rebounds.

Coach Alex Nwora said he was glad his boys were gradually hitting their stride.

“We’re glad with our two wins and just need to focus on the game against Mali in our last encounter. The players have a good understanding of themselves,” he said.
