Senator Ben Murray-Bruce (PDP-Bayelsa East) has lamented the alleged kidnap of students of the Government Girls Secondary School in Yobe state by suspected Boko Haram members.
The Yobe State Police Command on Tuesday had said no case of abducted girls has been reported to it since the attack on the school in Dapchi.
However, a teacher in the school claimed that no fewer than ninety-four students are missing after the attack.
Reacting in a post on his Twitter page, Murray-Bruce wrote: “The reports about missing girls from Government Girls Science and Technical Secondary School, Dapchi Yobe State after a Boko Haram attack are too similar to the #ChibokGirls saga and should be handled better.
“I have a terrible sense of Déjà vu. We can’t allow this happen again!”
