Striker Odion Ighalo is confident the Super Eagles will make it from Group D of the 2018 World Cup.
Nigeria were on Friday drawn against long-time foes Argentina, and Europeans, Iceland and Croatia.
Reacting to the draw, Ighalo who plays in the Chinese Super League, says the Super Eagles have all it takes to emerge from the group.
“Let me say that I am happy that we are not going to play Brazil and Germany in the first round of the World Cup,” Ighalo said after the draw.
“With this draw, we are have a good chance of qualifying from the group. It is a tough group and we have to work really hard and get our best for the World Cup.
“Iceland are also a good team. We can’t forget that they defeated England and did very well at the last European Championships. They and Croatia are no pushover.”
The three-time African champions will take on Croatia on June 18, 2018 in their first game at the competition.
